Here at Poyter, we believe in fair trade. We work in proud partnership with skilled artisan shoemakers, and our mission is to support backstreet cordwainers in struggling communities through a worthwhile and equitable exchange.

Our gifted shoemakers boast years of experience in making world-class made-to-measure shoes that are admired by a varied audience.

We are particularly looking for small workshops with experience producing custom size shoes.

We are a people’s brand, which is one reason why we are passionate about buying handmade. Supporting the people that work alongside us is at the heart of our mission.

We need to find talented people to work with us to produce top-quality and long-lasting footwear; it is essential to note that we will reward your efforts well based on skills and materials.

The items will also be priced accordingly to benefit all involved, including the customers, by selling at an affordable amount.

We want to offer a variety of top-quality products from around the world.

The possibilities are endless, and we are open to your creative ideas, including designs featuring exotic skins.

Any craftsmen who have the option and ability to work with exotic skins (such as crocodile/snake/lizard leathers etc.) are desirable and of high interest to us.

Handicraft is a talent; it is an activity that involves the making of objects by hand and is passed down through the generations; not everyone has the skill.

As demand increases, so does our requirement to have a big enough team to fulfill the pressure of more orders without compromising on our incredible quality.
